Press release on BILAT USA 2.0 recent Workshop in Boston about barriers and drivers to EU-US businesses collaboration in health/e-health RTI
American and European business representatives from small and large companies, as well as cluster managers, and high-level speakers from the European Commission and US institutions, exchanged at the occasion of a workshop organized in Boston on Friday, 20th June 2014 on the theme “Accelerating EU-US business collaboration in health/e-health Research & Innovation: Opportunities, Barriers and Best Practices”.
The overall purpose of the event, organized by inno TSD in the framework of the BILAT USA 2.0 project, was to jointly identify the main challenges faced by EU and US businesses in transatlantic health and e-health research and innovation collaboration, to visualize good practice examples and possible solutions to support EU-US businesses collaboration.
The workshop gathered a high-level audience of over 60 participants and the interesting insights gained through presentations and discussions are now transformed into policy suggestions in view of the planned renewal of the next EU-US Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Agreement.Please find the full press release on the event for download below
