inno TSD is  the French subsidiary of the inno Group. Established in 1986 on the internationally renowned science park, Sophia Antipolis in southern France;  the company has three regional teams located in Strasbourg, Saint Brieuc in Brittany and Gardanne close to Aix en Provence.  Many of these regional offices operate as business start up/incubator centre’s managed on behalf of the local city council.  The company employs twenty five experienced professionals who provide high quality expertise to meet the needs of our diverse client base.

inno TSD’s business philosophy has been shaped through working with major public and private sector actors and related stakeholders throughout France and Europe, helping them solve challenging and complex problems and providing them with innovative and viable solutions especially in the field of innovation policy and research exploitation.

The company specializes in supporting clients develop and access European research and innovation funding. Inno TSD manages a number of pan-European research projects, networks and platforms on behalf of the European Commission, such as the European Cluster Alliance, the Health2Market initiative for DG Health helping researchers create value from their activities and an FP7 project supporting Smart City initiatives.

inno TSD has a strong client and partner network and works with a selected number of international organisations and agencies (European Commission, UNIDO, ETSI …), research centres and universities, large companies such as EDF and many technology based SMEs.

Ex-post evaluation of FP6 NMP

The study, directed by inno, aims at evaluating, on the basis of the outputs and outcomes of the funded projects, the effectiveness of the FP6 thematic area NMP "Nano-technologies and nano-sciences, knowledge based multifunctional materials, and new production processes and devices" within the specific programme for research, technological development and demonstration "Integrating and strengthening the European Research Area (2002-2006)".

 The project PICASSO “ICT Policy, Research and Innovation for a Smart Society: towards new avenues in EU-US ICT collaboration“, funded under the European Union Horizon 2020 programme, will bring together EU and US prominent specialists with the aim of reinforcing EU-US ICT collaboration in pre-competitive research in key enabling technologies related to societal challenges of common interest – 5G Networks, Big Data, Internet of Things and Cyber Physical Systems – and to support the EU-US ICT policy dialogue.
