Entrepreneurship, incubation and research commercialization support

inno TSD helps its clients to develop and to implement initiatives that create value and jobs for the local communities they represent.  The company has undertaken many feasibility studies concerning the creation of business start-up facilities across Europe. These include science park locations such as the internationally renowned Paris-Saclay Science Park and the Eco-Vallée-Nice Méridia and urban locations where economic regeneration is a priority such as les Ardoines Industrial Park (Vitry/Paris), Salford/Manchester in the UK as well as a Franco-German cross border initiative in Strasbourg.  It has also performed entrepreneurship policy evaluations and best practice studies for the French Ministry of Research, the City of Lyon and the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region.

inno TSD manages a number of important business start-up centres on behalf of and in partnership with public authorities across France.  Contracts, some lasting up to six years, enable inno TSD to work alongside local partners to develop innovative programmes to enhance entrepreneurship and create sustainable jobs.  Current and recent management contracts include:

  • Cap Entreprises, Saint Brieuc managed on behalf of the Saint Brieuc area Council.  Cap Entreprises, with 5000m², is the largest such centre in Western France and is host to over 50 businesses.
  • In Strasbourg, inno TSD manages three facilities on behalf of Strasbourg Area Council aimed at promoting entrepreneurship as part of a broader urban regeneration strategy.
  • Inno TSD also ran for six years the Meyreuil Technology Centre, close to Aix en Provence on behalf of the Aix Area Council and the Pertuis centre for three years.

At a European level, inno TSD has implemented a number of EU projects aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship levels in key societal priority groups such as “seniors” through an Interreg project called Senior Enterprise and through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.  inno TSD, has supported incubator companies and SMEs to develop internationalisation strategies and business partnerships and access “soft landing” packages in neighbouring countries (CHAIN  Channel Area Innovation Network).

inno TSD participated in the writing of the successful SATT (technology transfer accelerator project) for ValorPACA. The company actively advises research institutions and local authorities on how to establish structures and incentive mechanisms aimed at boosting commercialisation success and technology transfer initiatives.  inno TSD helps its partners to manage the complex process of identifying and maximising the commercial potential of innovative technologies or services and it was recently part of the team supporting the Systematic Competiveness Paris Region Cluster to submit an IRT bid (Technology Research Institute).

inno TSD can also draw upon the expertise of its German sister company Engage Key Technology Ventures (managing the valorisation process for over fifteen research centres in Germany) and the seed capital venture fund MORE Invest.
