Rüdiger Werp studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and earned a doctorate in the field of Customer Relationship Management. From 1991 to 1994, he worked for a management consultancy in Lyon.
Subsequently, in 1994 he joined the management consultancy inno AG in Karlsruhe, which is active all over Europe. At inno AG he was in charge of consulting projects for public and private clients in Germany, Austria and France in the field of Innovation and Technology Management. One focus of his occupation have been projects concerning the stimulation and support of technology-oriented spin-offs from higher education and research institutions.
From 2000 until 2004, he was part of the management board of innoveas AG, a subsidiary company of inno AG, which has specialised in the design and realisation of innovative tools in the field of Information and Knowledge Management. The clients of innoveas are leading higher education as well as research and technology institutions across Europe.
Since 2004 Rüdiger Werp is managing director of engage AG.
