Testimonials

Ellen Pedersen, ex-Project Manager TACIS, currently manager of the EU export promotion programmes to Japan:

"inno engaged with the European Commission in the process of modernising the naukograds (Scientific Cities) in the Russian Federation. The project team made all the difference in that process, and results emerged in each naukograd. A sound regional Innovation Strategy (the first of its kind in Russia) was approved and implementation started, commercialisation activities from scientific centres took place with concrete return on investments, and related benefits.
A successful project depends on people, ideas, and political will."

inno Germany AG is the German office of the inno group. Being the operational unit, inno Germany has become a subsidiary of inno AG after the reorganisation of inno group into a holding in 2003.

inno AG and therefore also inno Germany AG established itself as a manager of complex projects and at the same time as a process moderator / facilitator for initiating and implementing pilot actions between public research institutions and companies in Europe.

In Karlsruhe, inno AG / inno Germany AG was significantly involved in the conception of the KEIM initiative (Karlsruhe start-up impulse), which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research for six years in the framework of the EXIST Programme. For the whole project period, inno AG / inno Germany AG supported the KEIM partners with the management and organisation of the initiative. Also, inno Germany AG supported KEIM with the further development of the association KEIM e.V. into KEIMforum e.V. and is today the first "private" member of the association.
KEIM has not only succeeded in becoming a successful and well-known initiative in the field of stimulation and support of start-ups in Germany, but has in the meantime become known all over Europe due to several successfully executed European projects. An important project in this field is the KREO network which is jointly run by KEIM and inno Germany AG. This network includes the partner regions Karlsruhe/Pforzheim, Oxford, Rhône-Alpes and Emilia-Romagna which exchange and further develop exemplary modules in the field of start-up support. So far, the KREO partners have all been selected as "Regions of Excellence" by the European Commission in the framework of the PAXIS Initiative for the third time already.

Also, inno Germany AG is handling the set-up, development and coordination of the Gate2Growth Incubator Forum. The Gate2Growth Incubator Forum is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Gate2Growth Initiative. Within the Incubator Forum, a Europe-wide network of managers and actors of start-up initiatives and incubators, which are directly linked to higher education and research institutions, was set up. As of today, the Gate2Growth Incubator Forum has more than 100 members from 25 European countries.
