Evaluation of the national system of regional networks for the technology development (Réseau de Développement Technologique - RDT) in France
|

Evaluation of the national system of regional networks created by the French Government with the support of regional authorities to develop innovation and technology transfer in the French regions. Each regional network consists of regional innovation counselors and provides them with training, information, financial support and database of SMEs. At the time of the evaluation, 21 RDT networks existed in France. The study developed a list of recommendations to ensure better consensus on the national strategy at the state level between the national agency for innovation ANVAR and the both involved ministries, a strategic monitoring at regional level, a better effectiveness of the RDT activities. 90% of the recommendations have been implemented and the network of RDT has seen its role confirmed and better recognized.
