Testimonials

Lars Högdahl Chairman of the Regional Growth Committee, Swedish Ministry of Industry:

"inno assisted the Regional Growth Committee in its task aiming to strengthen long-term economic development in exposed labour-market regions in parts of mid-central Sweden. The strategy of inno combining competence mapping with foresight methodology successfully enabled the region to find new areas of development. The most exciting result of inno´s work was the initiation of co-operations disregarding from geographically administrative boarders and traditional sector definitions."

Entrepreneurship initiatives

Add to Infobox

All benchmarks show that most European countries suffer from a shortage of entrepreneurship activity. The immediate and visible consequences are the rather low levels of new technology-based firms created every year and the risk adverse behaviour of entrepreneurs when they are confronted with innovation. Breaking down this cultural barrier is one of the most complex challenges facing Public Authorities.

For five years, in Germany under the Federal EXIST Pilot Programme, inno group has been at the forefront of entrepreneurship programmes. Our goal is to increase the entrepreneurship culture in a given region in order to help “potential entrepreneurs” to realise their ideas.

inno group enables our clients to raise the number of start-ups as well as to increase the demand for innovation among existing SMEs.

This approach is best implemented within the framework of a Regional Innovation Strategy. Although visible results can emerge after a couple years, the cultural change, supported by a proper communication campaign has direct and indirect impacts on the whole region.
